Authors are gearing up for #NanoWrimo!
If you’re unfamiliar with the popular author hashtag, it stands for National Novel Writing Month, which takes place in November.
If you go to NaNoWriMo’s website, you will find a great tool for writing a book during the month of November. Authors who use this tool set out on November 1st to write a 50k word novel by the last day of month.
Author, Martina Billings-Mcatee says, “I wrote my first book on NaNoWriMo, five books later and I’m still writing. It helped me. It gives me a goal even if I don’t meet it. It helps me focus.”
How does it work?
First, you need to make a profile on NanoWriMo. As you work through your 50k words, you update your progress on oh your profile and are awarded badges along the way
